Day 31 — End of a Month!

This is the 31st day! I’ve worked for an entire month. I am ecstatic. And when I look around my house, I feel amazing. The downstairs is actually fit for company at the moment. It’s been a long time since I could say that.

Here’s a bonus for you from Don’t Go Drinking With Hobbits. These are the lyrics for “A-Working In the Garden”. (It’s the only “working” song I’ve written, even if it is too cold and gray to go out and do so today.)

A-Working in the Garden

There’s no finer place to me
In all the wide world round
Than when I’m digging taters
Or planting in the ground.Seeding in the Springtime,
Harvesting in the Fall…
Tending vines in Summer,
The best times of them all.

I plant me corn and carrots,
Taters, herbs, and peas.
Sometimes watermelons,
And tomatoes, if I please.

And – of course – some Mushrooms,
Buried deep in bark
So they grow big and juicy–
Hidden in the dark.

There’s nothing finer to me,
Than working in the dirt
Weeding, hoeing, planting,
Until your muscles hurt.

It is an honest labor
The finest one around…
Yes, there is nothing better
Than digging in the ground.

So come on down to visit
I’ll cook you up a stew
And if you bring a coney,
I’ll add it in there too!

First chore of the day is an hour in the Living Room. There is a cabinet that needs going through, and I should go through the toy box. There aren’t too many other areas in there that need a lot of attention, I’m happy to say.

UPDATE ONE: One of those days where the progress won’t be visible to many people, but it is to me. Straightened the cabinet. Did some vacuuming — that new one might not be as robust a machine as I thought. 😛 Made some decisions. Found one of my ocarinas that had fallen behind the cabinet — didn’t even realize it was missing. That tends to say I have too many.

Anyway, here’s the pictures:

As I say, not a lot of difference between this and this — but I straightened it up.

Here are my instruments…if only I could play some of them. And, of course, this isn’t the lot. I have more in the Office right now.

This doesn’t show the Lute, the Autoharp, or the Ukulele.

Luther was standing guard on the fence again:

Good thing the birds didn’t know about it:

Bonus picture of a rare moment of peace between the girls. I think it was Newell’s calming touch:

Next up, an hour and a half in the Upstairs Hall.

UPDATE TWO: Moving a bit distractedly today since MY NEW KINDLE CAME! I have to re-sort all my books into the appropriate collections. It’s gonna take awhile. But it did interfere in getting stuff done quickly.

Here is what I concentrated on today:

Before

After

Newell wants to leave the desk on the boxes until we get some legs for it. I’d rather it went back to being the floor desk it is intended to be, but I’m not fighting over it. I do have an idea that might satisfy both of us. Like finding a coffee table that would fit underneath it correctly.

That’s 2 and a half hours. Last roll of the day is 30 minutes in the Kitchen. Dishes to wash!

UPDATE THREE: Didn’t think I really needed to take another picture of the clean dishes.     Almost done with all the backlog and caught up on the ones we use daily.

Downstairs is looking so good! Who wants to come visit?

Day 30

Wow, wow, wow! Almost an entire month, and not a single day when I didn’t do at least a little bit of housecleaning. That is an incredible milestone for me. Tomorrow being the end of the month, I will have to think of something special to commemorate it…any ideas?

I was commenting on another blog, 365 Trinkets, which is a fascinating collection of stories about objects he is purging from his life, and realized that I’ve done some of what I was talking about. Many of the clutter books talk about “miniaturizing” your stuff. Instead of keeping that dress you can no longer wear that your mom made you for senior prom, keep a swatch of the fabric and a photograph that can be mounted together in a scrapbook. Keep the rejection letters, but not the envelopes. That sort of thing. I wanted to share a couple of pictures of how I’ve taken this to heart:

I created these for the Game/Computer Room walls. Broken games, puzzles with missing pieces, stat sheets, all of these had memories attached, but were useless. Collecting them together in the collage made a cool wall decoration. And with today’s Magnetic Paint, it is fun and easy. (The magnetic words board is just really a simple collection point for all my magnets, but I thought it was still cool enough to share. ;))

The upstairs Guest bath has an Oriental theme, so I made these wall decorations for in there. The Dragon frames were once a stained silk kimono that was deteriorating at the seams. I cut the embroidery sections out and put them under glass where they could still be seen and admired. The collage was made in a simple black multi-frame and is composed of a couple of cards with Oriental themes, some appropriate fabric, and a bamboo weave from a place mat. Collages  make an awesome way to personalize a room. It is easy to create a theme with them. I need to do more!

But enough procrastinating. Let’s get down to work.

First roll of the day: An hour in the downstairs hall/stairs. Here we go.

UPDATE ONE: Hoped to get more done than I did, but mopping turned out to be a more time-consuming chore than I expected. That floor was filthy! And it still isn’t pristine…does one ever get pristine?

Dropped my camera again…why can’t I hold on to the darn thing? Anyway, here’s the progress:

I promise to mop more often in future…ick!        Not perfect, but much better.

Shelf unit was falling apart…                               …so I dismantled it.

Put the center section in the Living Room on a trial basis to sit beside the reading nook and keep track of borrowed books that need to be read and given back. Contents dispersed to the various places they needed to go…which was not in the front hallway. Still not sure what to do with the cot…and Newell uses the camp chair for his bonding feeding of the cats…but progress was made.

By the way, does anyone know what these birds are?

Are they robins? There is currently a flock in my backyard eating the crushed, stale chips I put down. I should go fill the bird feeders now that I bought seed yesterday.

Next chore: An hour and a half in the library. There’s always that much to do in there. I’ll be back…

UPDATE TWO: Well, it kinda became a morph between the Library and more of the Front Hall, but noticeable progress was made.

Before:

One side of the doorway….                        …and the other

Here’s the whole area.

After:

Looking into the doorway…                                     …and out of it.

The whole area.

And here is a shot that shows what still needs to be done. Look at all those double-stacked books. They need more shelves! We still have a lot of stuff to move before we can put up more though.

So where are we now? Sitting at two and a half hours. Next roll 45 minutes in the Dining Room. Time to break down all the boxes in the corner. 😉

UPDATE THREE: Dining Room looks really empty. There’s a reason for that. The little rolling stand with the plants on it is actually our dining room set. It cleverly folds up and the chairs store inside. We usually eat in the Living Room or at our computers, so why spend money on a dining table? Sometimes I wish that we got more formal…but it really isn’t necessary.

Here are the pictures:

Before, with boxes…                                               …after — boxes broken down and trashed.

DAILY UPDATE: 1 hour Front Hall + 1 hour 30 minutes Library + 45 minutes Dining Room = 3 hours and 15 minutes. See y’all tomorrow.

I See Your True Colors…Shining Through…

And there were times when I thought I would never see some of the surfaces in my house again!

But the progress is adding up, and you can really see a difference. Not to say some of the clutter isn’t being partially shifted to another place to be dealt with, but every time a pile moves somewhere else it loses a few constituent parts. Little by little I continue to whittle… 🙂

Today’s first roll is 30 minutes in the Studio. May not do a full three hours today. Newell reminded me that he had asked me to take it easier on weekends, and he should have SOME say in the whole process. But I will do at least that much. And probably more unless he offers me a better alternative. 😉

Like grocery shopping… 😛

UPDATE ONE: So, here is the Studio progress. This doesn’t show the bags I unpacked and sorted out into drawers and such, but it shows how the pile dwindled a bit at least. I had hoped to get more done, but 30 minutes flies when you are listening to an audio book. Since my Kindle is broken, I started Gone With The Wind on my laptop. Been a long time since I read that book, and I was struck by her powers of description.

Before                                                      After

I really did do more than this picture conveys…but probably not a lot. Feeling a bit Sunday lazy today. Still want to get a bit more done before bedtime, but I think I’ll do the grocery shopping now.

UPDATE TWO: Grocery shopping took two hours and was hassle enough to count as the rest of my time today. See?

The freezer was a little bare…                       And this is after that stuff was put away!

Plus the cat food and litter, water and sodas, birdseed…full shopping trip.

I’ve earned the night off. Back to a full day tomorrow. Promise. 🙂

Day 28

Newell was VERY pleased by the kitchen last night, particularly his counter being clean and the microwave being science-fiction level shiny. Of course, then he made something for dinner that dripped cheese sauce in the microwave…but I cleaned it up before it settled in to live.

Called Amazon last night, and they are replacing my Kindle at a discount even though it was out of warranty, so it will be here Tuesday. I think I can hold out that long.

I forgot to caution pet-lovers who clean…be vigilant. Even with three litter boxes, someone decided the box of file folders and assorted papers sitting on the floor to be filed was a great place to take a whizz. Or more, probably, several.

I caught Sunshine at it, and scolded him severely, but the damage had been done. Still need those bills, so can’t toss them, but they are drying out. And the box has been moved somewhere that I don’t think will be a problem until they do.

Some days I look around and get chills about how far we’ve come in the past month — and pride in the fact that it has BEEN almost a month and I’m still going. Other days (or sometimes different looks on the same day) I realize how far there is yet to go! You won’t be rid of me for a while, that’s for sure. 😉

First roll of the day is 30 minutes in the Kitchen. I need to get that floor done, and this seems like a perfect roll for it. Need to eat a bite first so I can take a pill, and then to work!

UPDATE ONE: Boo for textured linoleum! It is a PITA to mop…but the house was built without my input before Newell and I met. And it is holding up pretty well, I’ve got to give it that. Still, will either have to move all the appliances or get down on my hands and knees to get the floor totally clean. A major improvement with the first pass though, and the dishwasher needs to be pulled out to access the problem anyway…

Before:

It is hard to get the full impact of the mess on the light gray floor, but I think you get the idea…

After:

As I say, still not perfect, but a thousand times better just the same.

Next job for the day:  Back to the Kitchen for another hour. I think I hear some dishes calling my name…

UPDATE TWO: Have almost completely emptied the “To Be Washed” dish pile. I am pleased. 🙂

Need to replace the garbage disposal too. Have been forgetting to put it on the list. Cleared a lot of gunk out of the disposal side of the sink. Stuff still gets in occasionally, but there is nothing to grind it up and make sure it goes on down now. It was yucky. Scrubbed that side of the sink with Comet Cleanser, and it is much better.

        Sink before…                                                           and after

More dishes done:

And a few yet to go:

That counter is almost clean too!

Fifteen minutes in the Living Room next.

UPDATE THREE: Fifteen minutes in this case was just a little straightening. Not really anything worth taking pictures of, but every little bit helps.

We’re up to an hour and forty-five minutes today. Wonder what is next?

I’ve been rolled back into the living room for another hour and a half.

That would finish my day. I’m just not sure there is that much more work to do first pass in the living room. I hate to get too far in one room when other rooms really need work. But on the other hand, the living room being presentable for company would be a nice thing too. So, I’ll take it. 🙂

And this time, I will take some pictures.

UPDATE FOUR: One thing about having an open plan house for the most part is that there are some little areas that sort of don’t belong to any room. One of those was a little piece of floor between the Kitchen proper and the carpet of the Living Room. It’s been bugging me for weeks, so I decided to clean it up. Between that and the toy box (yes, I have a toy box, and yes, it is full of toys and games) behind the couch that had been collecting stuff (including Christmas candy from 2010…) I had plenty to take 90 minutes. That included sorting stuff into piles for the rooms they belonged in, deciding to donate some things to Texas Paralyzed Veterans who are coming on the 11th, and throwing out the chocolate.

You can see how badly these two little spaces needed help:

No man’s land before                                             Toy box before

But now they are all prettified. 🙂

No man’s land after                                               Toy box after

That’s where our shoes are SUPPOSED to live. And the candle collection was a wedding present. It looks much nicer all showcased than knocked over and scattered.

DAILY WRAP UP: 30 minutes in the Kitchen + an hour in the Kitchen + 15 minutes in the Living Room + 90 minutes in the Living Room = 3 hours and 15 minutes of solid cleaning and visible results. See you tomorrow!

Day 27

Yeah, I know that they say it is easier to catch traffic’s eye with a clever title to your post…but I rather like having the Song Title Sunday different than the rest of the week, and the important thing — the number of consecutive days that I have at least done SOMETHING about my housecleaning — commemorated in the title. What do the readers of the blog think? Of course, you are very quiet readers. 😉 My questions won’t bite. You can send me an answer via this form if you don’t want to comment on the page:

← Back

Thank you for your response. ✨

Let’s see what today has in store for us:

15 minutes in the garage. Okay. I can find enough quick stuff to do for that.

UPDATE ONE: Here we are. Got the pile I was working on taken down a bit.

Before…                                                      After…

It doesn’t look like too much, but it was only a few minutes, remember.

Let’s see what the dice want me to do next. An hour and a half in the kitchen. Hooray! I can watch Tabitha Takes Over as I wash dishes. 😉

And get that microwave cleaned out today!

UPDATE TWO:  That was actually fun. Got the rest of my counter fairly clean again, and washed another dishwasher full of dishes. And the microwave went from nasty to shiny. Almost looks brand new. 🙂

And Tabatha….

But I am SUPER proud of the microwave:

Microwave before…                                                  and after

Today I think I will accept the 30 minutes outside in the front yard that was the next roll, because I have a project. It may not work, but I need to try and save a plant, and I am going to see if I can get some cuttings to root.

UPDATE THREE: It was a beautiful day out, though my Kindle blew off the porch rail and got a little scratched up. 😦

While I was at it I transferred a couple of little clumps of sage from out in the middle of the yard where the mowers might get them to next to the house. I hope they will grow.

I hope my mouse-eared jew will grow. I hope ANY plant I touch will grow, but that’s a different problem.

starting to break ground…

My sage…                                                               and mouse-eared jew

I mostly just laid the cuttings on the ground and pressed them into the mud. They root from any node, so I am hoping it will be warm enough for a few days that at least some catch. I had to get the length off the original plant. It needs to be re-potted, and the trailers were leeching all the nutrients out of it.

We’re up to 2 hours and 15 minutes today. Let’s see what else we can get done.

45 minutes in the Office. What a perfect way to end the day at three hours. Wish me luck, I’m going in. 🙂

UPDATE FOUR: I tried…and I did get a bit done…but when I realized that my Kindle was NOT just scratched in its fall, but instead is totally broken, I didn’t have the heart to do the full 45. I am devastated.  It is my constant companion. Now I’ll have to send it off to Amazon and see what happens. I think it is about two weeks out of warranty. At least I think I still have cassette tapes of the audio I was listening to, so I might be able to finish it.  Or I did find my iPod the other day…can Audible books go on one of those?

Here’s the bit I managed to get done:

Stock bookcase before…                            Stock bookcase after

I said it wasn’t much…

I am so crushed at the moment…over a silly “thing”. We are too wrapped up in our stuff, aren’t we…

DAILY WRAP UP:  15 minutes Garage + 1 hour 30 minutes Kitchen + 30 minutes Front Yard + 30 minutes in Office = 2 hours and 45 minutes…

Day 26

I actually got a good night’s sleep. I vaguely remember Newell saying in the middle of the night “You’re not coughing.” So, that was a good thing. Really didn’t want to get up this morning…but I also couldn’t get back to sleep after Newell got up, so I gave in. Most important thing is that I feel like I might get something done today!

So, it’s back to the dice…

45 minutes in a 3×3 bathroom…hmmm. I think I might finish that a bit early. But I will see how long I can go. Need to purge the expired medication in the cabinet for one thing. And make a list of what needs to be replaced. That’ll take a few minutes. So, on to a fairly easy but important task to start the day!

UPDATE ONE: Done! Got the cabinet clean, and scrubbed the floor on hands and knees. You can do that when it is so small. Still needs a bit of touch-up, but basically, that room is finished.

Pictures or it didn’t happen:

Cabinet before.

Everything that is no longer in the after picture was expired and got thrown away.

Grungy floor and baseboards before…

And the aftermath:

Cabinet after…may still be marginal on a couple of things.

Still a few spots in the corners, but much better than it was.

Next chore is the Library for an hour and fifteen minutes, but first I have to eat lunch so I can take my next pill. 😛 I hate protracted regimens, but I hate not breathing more. Today, there will be more progress in the library. Promise.

UPDATE TWO: Relatively more progress. And knocking my camera off a filing cabinet to hit a cinder block APPARENTLY didn’t kill it, which was a definite “Thank God!” moment.

There is more clear floor, and more trash in the can, so I’m calling it a win. Found a few things I hadn’t realized were missing…don’t you hate that? Better they stayed gone and out of your hair…but I am glad I found them.

Pictures:

Library before….

Library after….

May not look like too much got done, but there is clear floor, which is always a step forward. I can almost get over to the bookcase in the corner, which needs to be cleared of reference materials that belong in the Office… And the pile with the star on top there needs to move to the Office too, so it is only temporary. 🙂

Two hours down…dare I push for three today? Next roll is thirty minutes in the Kitchen…but I think I might just make it an hour and keep going. That’s fairly light stuff, and really needs doing.

Be back later.

UPDATE THREE: Washed dishes for almost an hour and a half. I am doing them by hand at the moment so the water doesn’t flood the kitchen. Really miss the dishwasher, but listening to Crocodile on the Sandbank (Amelia Peabody) from Audible made the time fly. I’ve listened to this audio at least a half a dozen times, and read the book again that many, but I never get tired of Amelia and Emerson. If you haven’t met them, you are denying yourself quite a treat. This is the first one, and I plan on using the entire series as cleaning background. 🙂

Anyway. I started with quite a lot of dirty dishes backed up while I was sick and not running the dishwasher.  My counter is covered again!

But I managed to make a dent in it. Filled up the dishwasher, which I was using as a draining rack, and another counter besides, with clean dishes:

Still a lot of dishes to go, but I’m not wanting to overdo.

The counter is much less tightly covered.

That’s over three hours of work today. I’ve earned the rest of the night off. Have a good one!

DAILY WRAP UP: 45 minutes downstairs bath + hour and 15 minutes in the Library + hour twenty minutes in the Kitchen = 3 hours and 20 minutes. Hooray! I may be back to productive!

Day 25

As warned last night, it will be another day of late posting as I am out for doctor stuff all day. Hopefully they will be able to get me back on track. 🙂 Talk to you later.

UPDATE ONE: Doctor says it is probably allergies after all, but irritating my throat instead of the nasal passages. Have a complicated course of steroids to start tomorrow. 😛 And some Cough Pearls to start tonight. (I could start the steroids, but the pharmacist recommended tomorrow because they could keep me up all night, and the LAST thing I need is a third mostly sleepless night.)

So…there’s that. Newell hasn’t been sleeping well either because of my cough, and he’s already crashed, so I am going to take myself down to the Library to work for awhile tonight. Still taking it sort of easy, so don’t expect a lot of progress, but some is better than none.

I’ll be back–

UPDATE TWO: Less than I hoped to get done, but I moved a few books. Newell cheered when he heard me admit I needed to take it easy tonight. He thinks I am pushing too hard. But if I don’t at least TRY to get some work done every day, the venture will fail. There will be plenty of weekends when I am out-of-town at conventions and HAVE to take a few days off.

Here are the before and after pictures of my book piles. You can see they went down a little…but not much:

Before…                                                  After…

Okay, I didn’t match the angle, so it looks like I moved even fewer books than I did. 😛

Oh well. I tried. Tomorrow will, HOPEFULLY be a better day. At least I had lost 6 pounds according to the doctor’s scale…

Day 24

Emergency laundry day. Will clean this evening. Sorry about that.

UPDATE ONE: Some days are like that with the washer and dryer being on the “To Do” repairs list. Newell was out of work clothes for tomorrow and it was going to be raining all day, so I couldn’t hang things in the back to dry.

And I’ll tell you now that I broke down and called the doctor to see if they can do anything about my inability to breathe after keeping myself awake most of last night coughing.

But I did get a nap this afternoon in the parking garage, so I am going to try and get something done at least. Falling back to my natural go-to position and heading into the Office to try and get the desk finished. The sooner I can get a work station set up in there, the sooner I might get some productive work done in the other half of my life. I have submissions to read and stories to write!

Check back with you later.

UPDATE TWO: May not seem like a whole lot of progress, but it has been bothering me a great deal that my Signed Books case had become a catch all for junk. Worked on straightening it out and cleared some of the floor back to the carpet. Plus all the books stacked up yesterday to go to the library made it downstairs. Worked for about two hours, and now I am worn out and ready for a bath and bed.

Here is my pretty bookcase and the progress on the floor:

Though it is more than full now…              Still a ways to go.

Tomorrow I have labwork and the doctor’s appointment, so it will be another late one. But I’ll try to check in before I go.

Day 23

It is official. I have totally lost my momentum. 😦 This is a BAD thing. I still haven’t gotten started on the day. And I really don’t want to. I want my house clean, but the thought of doing it is oppressing. Anyone got any ideas?

I know that hour and a half I rolled for the Master Bath yesterday really needs doing. I WILL do it. Want to or not. But first I should load more Audible books in my Kindle. I finally finished 11/22/63. I enjoyed it. Maybe not King’s best, but I liked the subtle nods to past works, and found his premise very intriguing.

I realized I didn’t get the third week’s work chart posted yesterday either, so that’s on my To Do List, but it will be sad in comparison to the first two weeks. 😛

Books downloading. Will start work soon, I promise!

UPDATE ONE: Well, I only managed about an hour before fumes and lack of oxygen overcame me, but I got the spots I was focusing on much improved. Except for my nemesis, but we’ll discuss that later.

Here are the before shots:

I know…cat lovers are cursing me. But there are THREE litter boxes for four cats around here, two of whom spend most of their time outside… No excuse, but I’ll try to be better.

I said in the beginning, my house needed a LOT of work. I’m being honest about that.

That shower floor is my utter nemesis. This is after I bleached it a week or so ago. About to tackle it again…but as you can see in the “after” shots:

Scrubbing with Ajax had no real effect. Anyone have any tips on how to clean a pebbled surface? It is driving me nuts, but I CANNOT get it clean!

Anyway, let’s see what is next:

An hour in the Study. My dice want me to get back to being able to work in there, I see!

See you on the flip side.

UPDATE TWO: It will be hard to tell from these pictures that I actually worked the full hour this time, and filled half a trash bag, but here are the Office shots (trying to switch from Study to Office, since it is less confusing with the Studio too.)

As you can see from the above, that pathway through to the back of the room I was so proud of the other day was soon lost in a need to shift some things around. I was really planning to work on getting it back today, but instead, I started working on the desk.

This is how far I got:

Might not look like much, but compare it to this when you can’t even see the desk, and I got a lot done.

For one thing, I culled this pile of books that should be in the library rather than the Office:

They basically fill two-thirds of the chair. Little by little order from chaos.

Now, that’s two full hours down today, and I’m feeling better than I was…shall we go for three? Let’s see what the dice have to say:

15 minutes in the Studio. That is definitely doable.

UPDATE THREE: Especially with the shorter time frames, I pick a specific thing I want to get done and try to accomplish at least that. It makes you feel really good to get that targeted project done.

In this case, I wanted to get this lounge and its contents squared away.

Much of it was Christmas wrappings that go in the closet behind it, and the two boxes are books that need to go down to the library. (We have a metric F**k ton of books — pardon my French.)

Fifteen minutes later:

Books are still sitting by the door to go down, but the area is cleaned up and sorted out. Go me!

Two hours and fifteen minutes today, but I am getting a bit of a head ache. I don’t want to push it into a relapse, so I am going to call that a good day. I may file during Castle to make up the lost time tonight.

DAILY WRAP UP: One hour in Master Bath + one hour in Office + 15 minutes in Studio = 2 hours and 15 minutes. That’s a big step up from most of last week.

Whistle While You Work…

Ah, if only I could! Starting into week four with little energy or lung capacity. Newell blames it on the cleaning stirring up mold. He may well be right. It’s an upward slog, but I’m not giving up. Just struggling…and not making my three hours most days last week. That has to change!

So, I swore to get back on track today. Let’s see what the dice have to say.

Roll one: Outside. No. It is cold and gray outside, and I really can’t garden or anything at the moment, so it’s a re-roll for INSIDE. Took four rolls for it to reluctantly agree to upstairs instead of outside…is someone trying to tell me something?

Upstairs, computer room for 15 minutes. Starting off slow and easy today. And I think I know where to go. It will take about that long to get this bit tidied away.

Clearing the space in front of the old electronics storage closet would be a right good thing. 🙂

UPDATE ONE: And here ya go.

Tossed some old cables, boxed up some components, sorted stuff where it belonged. Good 15 minutes.

Next up: 30 minutes in the pantry. Why do the dice love that room so much? I do have some more mopping to do in there, and a bit of sorting, so I’ll get on it. But first I think I need to find some lunch!

UPDATE TWO: Mopped for about fifteen minutes, but that was all I could handle. It did take care of many of the worst spots. I forgot to take pictures — as I always seem to do in the pantry. And I am exhausted today. Going to lie down for awhile and see if I can get back to work a bit later. I am sorry for all the shortened days lately…it irritates the heck out of me too…

UPDATE THREE: I am admitting defeat. Today isn’t going any further. 😦 But I rolled my first chore of tomorrow: 1 hour 30 minutes in the Master Bath, and I will get on it as soon as Newell is off to work. I promise. A good night’s sleep tonight may make a world of difference. I’m about to test that theory. G’ nite.

DAILY WRAP UP: 15 minutes in Computer Room + 15 minutes in Pantry = Disappointing Day. Being sick sucks.
