Did get a dishwasher full of dishes washed today. (Remember, my dishwasher is broken, so it is currently a bi-level drying rack.) That made for a big improvement in the kitchen.
Other than that, I handled some Zumaya business and read more Chinese Fairy Tales. I think I have one picked out to adapt for my next naughty one. 😉
I didn’t do a whole lot else — walked over to Chuy’s to meet Newell for dinner, and helped him focus on some work he brought home. Made us miss Burn Notice and Suits, but it’s more important. There is always Hulu or Amazon to catch up.
Oh, and I returned the call I got yesterday from the doctor trying to schedule MY appointment with the endocrinologist, so we will both be going in tomorrow. Which means little housework, but hopefully I can take my computer and actually write while I wait for it to be time to go this time. 🙂

 back from my mom. (That’s not quite my version…mine is the one without the ads, but it’s close.) It is so much easier to see the writing on the bigger screen, though the “back light” on my phone is nicer. And I was productive today, downloading three volumes of Chinese Fairy Tales to use as research for the erotic stories I have promised.
 first. That took longer than expected. Actually still not through with the “bonus features” but at least I finally finished the saga and can quit. It got really boring to me by the end of the third one, but I rarely don’t finish a book. I really enjoyed 
 better than I expected, but the sex got silly and repetitious before too long.

So, the doctor went well. Looks like the last tweak to the thyroid meds was the right way to go. Still need more Vitamin D, but I’ll work on that.
Re-read the fairy tale I am going to work with today. I continue to think it has potential to be a perfect little paranormal tale.
My husband told me Wednesday that he bought me an Amazon Gift Card
for my birthday, and I have been waiting for the notice. Duh! When he went on to Amazon to check on it, he had had it delivered to an email address I seldom check, so it’s been sitting there for days. *blush*. But on the good side, I have $100 to spend on Amazon…the possibilities boggle the mind. 🙂
We went to Kerbey Lane for dinner, and they have a version of Tacos al Pastor on their summer menu. I’m not big for tacos, so I had them hold the tortillas and the rice and beans that come with it and put it on the optional side salad instead. Yum! I think I invented something cool. (Newell helped.) It was delicious. And I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
Looking forward to doing nothing I don’t want to tomorrow. Maybe writing a bit. And then Sunday is the family birthday party. It’ll be a nice weekend. Maybe I’ll finally play with the fans I ordered months ago to be crafty with. 🙂

UPDATE: I figured out one thing to do with my gift card and pre-ordered the first season DvDs of Once Upon a Time. Can’t wait to see the whole thing together when you can pause and go back and so forth. 🙂
