Still not back to full routine. Went with Newell today because he had a doctor’s appointment, and I am glad I did, because he got a tetanus combo shot and it made his arm hurt really bad.
We came home early and I got ready for Beer, Brass, and BS — our local Steampunk monthly meeting. Tonight was the first night with vendors, and it was cool. Plus, I got to see many of my friends in their fancy finery.
It was a lot of fun, but my allergies drove me home much sooner than I would have liked.
Next month, I may try to vend myself. We shall see…
I promised to get back to poems tonight. But you may just get a haiku…
Mardi Gras beads of many hues
sparkle in the light —
decadence personified.
(and yes, I know the first line has an extra syllable. :P)
