Guess what we went to see today? 😉
Yes, there was a lot of blood in it, so if you don’t like fountains of the stuff, Django Unchained is probably not for you. However, I thought it was brilliant. I love Tarantino movies anyway, and this is definitely one of his best…though I really haven’t seen him make a bad one. LOVED it, if you can’t tell…
Anyway, that was an unexpected surprise in the middle of my day — I’d thought about suggesting it, but didn’t, and all of a sudden I got a screen capture texted to me showing that Newell had bought tickets. He’s SO good to me.
Luckily, I had already fulfilled my weekly submission quota — submitted a poem to an anthology today, as well as a proposal to do a static presentation of my Elven language for a Language Creation Conference I am going to in May.
I may not be getting much of anything done by way of cleaning yet — I’m still adjusting to being productive — but I AM being productive! I really feel like a real writer right now. 😀
Of course, I might finish quicker if I turned off Adderly…
