I went with Newell today because he needed to have a prescription refilled, and I needed something from the pharmacy. Of course, they weren’t ready with his prescription, and he had to get to work, so I spent a mostly miserable day in the garage reading on the Fifty Shades trilogy. When you know it started life in another incarnation as Twilight fanfic, it is very obviously that. I don’t think her file was fine enough… But it is better than a lot of fanfic, and someone — I don’t recall who — that ran the two manuscripts through a comparison compiler thought they were different enough for Fifty Shades to be called original. Rather silly if you ask me, but she’s made a mint off them. Makes me want to see if some of my fanfic is adaptable. 😉
My goal is to be back on the clean on Monday. Sorry it’s been so long.
