I have been accused of being a very bad person for passing along a link to Gemcraft — Labyrinth to my writing partner…so click this link at your own risk. But it is Sunday, and we all need a break sometime, right?

I am not a big lover of the Tower Defense style of game — but there is something about Gemcraft that is simply addictive. You are defending your Wizard’s Orb from attacking monsters with various properties. If you haven’t played a Gemcraft game before, you might want to start with Gemcraft — Chapter 0, or Gemcraft (The Original) but it isn’t strictly necessary. There is a decent tutorial included.

This is one of those games that can be on your bookmark toolbar for when you want to kill a little time, or unwind for hours. Give it a try — and have fun!
